Dubai Comprehensive Care Systems Conference discusses integration of autism sufferers into society

A comprehensive global perspective on best practices was launched Thursday (March 30th) by Al Jalila Specialist Hospital for Children, the first specialized hospital for children in the UAE. The conference will continue until April 1st and will discuss the latest methods of working To provide comprehensive community-based care systems that integrate people with autism spectrum disorder, integrate them into society and help their families.The opening ceremony was attended by HE Dr. Khalid Ahmed Al Sheikh Mubarak Al Shamsi, Executive Director of Dubai Healthcare City, Dr. Abdullah Al Khayat, Vice Chairman of Al Jalila Hospital, Dr. Amer Al Zarouni, Chief Medical Officer, Dubai Healthcare City and Dr. Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Awadi, Al-Jalila Specialist Hospital for Children, in addition to many specialized doctors and consultants from all over the world, and representatives of a number of media outlets, including Al-Now TV correspondents.The conference will be co-organized by the Harvard Medical School Center for Global Health Services in Dubai, the EMACAPAP and the IACAPAP, the International Association of Pediatric and Adolescent Psychiatry. International experts on Autism will discuss the latest international best practices for improving the lives of people living with HIV / AIDS, especially in terms of their regular integration into the professional and academic community as their non-infected counterparts.
